Mission Street becomes member of Advanced Oxford

Advanced Oxford welcomes Mission Street – a specialist investor, developer and operator focused on the delivery of creative real estate for the UK’s evolving knowledge economy.

Established in 2017, the company’s mission is to become the partner of choice for the UK’s research and innovation sector, supporting the entire lifecycle from discovery to R&D and manufacturing.

The company is delivering a committed development pipeline in excess of 1.2m sq ft in Oxford, Cambridge and Bristol, led by a specialist management team with extensive experience acquiring, developing and operating science and innovation buildings and campuses. This team is supported by an Advisory Board that brings expertise from the perspective of its customers, with a wealth of experience including investors, company founders and operations professionals.

In Oxford, where the supply of lab space is at record lows, Mission Street is working to bring forward plans to deliver a new innovation district on the Botley Road, where, subject to planning, they will create over 200,000 sq ft of prime, well connected innovation real estate within 10 minutes-walk of the railway station and city centre amenities.  The first phase of the development, named Inventa, is currently on site and due to be delivered in autumn this year.

“Mission Street’s company ethos always has been about building ecosystems, not just the physical buildings, and it is important that these ecosystems are integrated into the innovation clusters and cities in which we invest.  Since our initial investment in Oxford, we have been working with Sarah and Advanced Oxford to achieve this and, having seen the amazing work of the organisation, are now proud to cement that relationship by joining.  We look forward to continuing this active collaboration and actively contributing to our shared vision of building the Oxford innovation ecosystem to one of the leading global clusters.” – Artem Korolev, CEO and Founder of Mission Street

“Mission Street’s commitment to working with, and alongside, others to bring forward workspace that will benefit the innovation ecosystem and Oxford’s economy as a whole is behind their membership of Advanced Oxford.  We are really pleased to have Mission Street working with us and supporting our work.” – Sarah Haywood, Advanced Oxford’s Managing Director
