News: Oxford North to be a new innovation district for the city

Oxford City council has resolved to approve the planning application submitted by AO member, Thomas White Oxford, for the Oxford North development. It will create workspace for start-ups such as high-tech university spin-outs and businesses, 480 new homes (of which 168 will be affordable), small shops, bars and restaurants as well as three new parks. The project also includes up to £100m infrastructure investment for electric charging points, new roads, cycle paths and footpaths.
