Innovate Local: South East – Regional Innovation Event at Royal Holloway

On 15 July 2025, Innovate UK will host Innovate Local: South East at Royal Holloway, University of London.

This free, one-day event is designed to support businesses across the South East by providing access to innovation resources, funding opportunities, and regional networks.

The event is part of the wider Innovate Local programme, which aims to bring national innovation support closer to regional businesses. Attendees will hear from a range of speakers and organisations, including innovation funders and regional support providers. Sessions will cover key sectors such as cyber security, defence, artificial intelligence, and the creative industries, which have been identified as strengths and priorities for the South East.

The agenda will include:

  • Discussions on how innovation can contribute to business growth, competitiveness, and resilience
  • Sector-specific sessions offering tailored information and advice
  • Networking opportunities with innovation experts, funders, and other businesses
