Oxford Brookes to host KTP event on 1st February 2023

Join Oxford Brookes at this exciting event on 1st February 2023 at 4:30pm. Come to discover the opportunities and learn how a Knowledge Transfer Partnership collaboration can benefit your business

Innovate UK’s Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTPs) is a national programme that has been helping and benefiting businesses for over 45 years to improve their effectiveness, productivity, and competitiveness through the use of research, knowledge, and skills within universities.

Oxford Brookes University provides support to help businesses explore KTP opportunities. Oxford Brookes can work in partnership with a business to develop a successful KTP application and manage the project from start to completion.  KTPs are generously co-funded by Innovate UK to bring new skills and expertise into companies looking to bring new innovation to the market, or to support in-company innovation.

Advanced Oxford’s research on skills and talent, Attract, Retain, Grow, showed that many companies are not aware of the KTP programme and funding opportunities.  This event from Oxford Brookes is aimed at raising awareness and providing an opportunity to ask questions about suitable projects and the application process.

This session will include:

  • A keynote presentation on how you can get involved in KTPs by Dr Matt Hogan (Innovate UK Knowledge Transfer Adviser for Oxfordshire, Berkshire and West London) and Anna Verghese (Oxford Brookes KTP Manager)
  • An opportunity to network with like-minded colleagues
  • Opportunities to discover how Oxford Brookes academics can drive your business growth.
