‘The Future of…Funding’ Panel and Discussion

Join ARC Oxford and Advanced Oxford for the final event in ‘The future of…’ series as we explore the future of funding for startups, scale-ups and high growth companies.

Our panel represents the full range of investor activity. In our discussion, we will consider the role of angels, family offices, venture and will also explore a range of problems in the UK investing environment, including patient capital and the need to attract institutional investors into activities to support science and technology based companies within the UK.

The event will also consider the issue of universities equity share and what can be done to shake up the status quo. While the Oxford area has seen huge levels of investment into science and technology companies, we will delve into why we still need a more diverse range of funders and what can be done to further develop the investment environment across the region.

The event will take place on the 25th May 2023, from 12:30 – 1:30pm at ARC Oxford.
