OxBio Hub joins Advanced Oxford

Advanced Oxford is delighted to welcome OxBio Hub as a new member of the science and technology focused business leadership organisation. OxBio Hub will be contributing to our work in supporting the development of Oxfordshire’s innovation ecosystem.

OxBio Hub is the full refurbishment, reuse and extension of Building 2700, transforming it into a self-contained innovation campus delivering high-quality, future-ready lab and office space for the science and technology sector.

The building will be CL2 lab-ready and designed for optimal workflow and flexibility, with spaces ranging from 4,000 sq.ft to 130,851 sq.ft that can be customised to meet occupiers’ specific needs. Sustainability is central to the scheme, targeting BREEAM Very Good and EPC A ratings. The project includes enhanced M&E infrastructure, photovoltaic solar panels, EV charging, energy-efficient lighting and ventilation, and landscaped green areas that promote biodiversity, reducing operational costs and supporting ESG goals.

Tenants will benefit from premium amenities including a gym, café, auditorium, meeting rooms, internal and external breakout areas, secure access, delivery zones, cycle storage, ample parking, and reimagined communal spaces, fostering an inspiring, collaborative environment that supports wellbeing and productivity.

Strategically located with excellent connectivity via the Oxford Ring Road and close links to the city’s universities, research hospitals, and talent pool, OxBio Hub is designed as a catalyst for convergence, bringing together diverse scientific disciplines and emerging technologies to spark innovation and interdisciplinary breakthroughs. It also provides essential grow-on space for university spin-outs and a natural relocation option for companies wishing to remain in Central Oxford.

“As we’re located on the Oxford Ring Road, at the heart of one of the UK’s leading science and technology clusters, it’s imperative that we’re actively involved in the region’s innovation community. Joining Advanced Oxford reflects our commitment to supporting the thriving science and technology ecosystem, building strong connections and playing our part in strengthening Oxford’s position as a world-leading centre for innovation.”

Angus Bates, Owner, OxBio Hub

“We are delighted to welcome OxBio Hub as a new sponsor member within Advanced Oxford’s community.  The team behind OxBio Hub has deep experience in developing innovation-focused places within Oxfordshire, so we are pleased to see their continued commitment and support for the knowledge economy within the region, and specifically the development of the new site for life sciences companies.  We look forward to working with them through their membership.”
